Every month a rundown list of the world’s most powerful phones is released. This is done by the help of AnTuTu’s bench-marking system. AnTuTu is one of the world’s most popular app for running benchmark tests on Android and iOS devices. It performs multiples test on major parts of your device and assigns an overall score. Here’s a list of what AnTuTu is actually measuring.
- UX – User Experience
- CPU – Central Processing Unit
- RAM – Random Access Memory
- GPU – Graphics Processing Unit
- I/O – Input and Output
After tests are run on these parts of the device, numerical scores are generated for each. At the end of the test, all generated scores are added together to give an actual device benchmark. These scores are then compared with scores from previously tested devices, since scores are uploaded to AnTuTu’s server. Devices with the highest scores are compiled and compared as against each other.
